The universal language
There are so many languages in the world and every language has its own peculiarities. Some languages are more spread others are less spoken in the world. And every language is the universal code with the help of which people make trade, industrial, economic and cultural contacts.
Recently the most spread language in the world is English. Chinese is more spread by the number of speakers. But if too consider native-speakers of China and English-speaking countries, it will be obvious that English is the language that develops and spreads while other languages die out. Spanish language have the same trend but still it is not so popular as English.
Spoken English is the most frequently used language between people of different nationalities and written English is not less spread as it is the main language of the internet.
But this spread of English influences the work of interpreters in negative way. It is connected with the increase of number of experts in English as well of its speakers who don't need the service of interpreter of translator. Besides, as there are a lot of experts in this language, translation into English became cheaper, even the translation of complicated text on technical topic.
More exotic languages are well-paid, because there is the lack of translators. So, it is necessary to consider these points before getting the profession of translator and interpreter.
