When book becomes popular in its motherland, it is usually translated into other languages. In such way people have the possibility to read best-seller in translation. But of course nothing can be compared with the original language of the book. It is necessary to have a lot of knowledge and patience to translate the literary work from foreign language, as there are so many difficulties such as pans, anecdotes that sometimes may be not funny for the nation while another nation couldn't help laughing, the structure of the sentence, etc.

So the most translated books are usually the most popular ones. But with the development of cinematography, the most translated literature became the scripts of the Walt Disney studio. The books of Agatha Christie, Jules Verne, Lenin and William Shakespeare are the most frequently translated in the world.

The Bible is not less popular among translators. But it keeps leading positions thanks to translations of the past, as nowadays only a few enthusiasts are ready to take the responsibility of translation of the Bible.

Immortal books of classical writers are also translated. These books occupy their important place on the shelves of libraries of the world. Thanks to several translations of book, people have the possibility to read several versions of translations in such way understanding the message of the writers better.
